Melana Matson is nine years old, and in January of this year they found out she has a very serious, life threatening cancer called a glioma affecting her brain stem. We have formed a team called MILES FOR MELANA. The team took part in the Akron road runner marathon last saturday.
As of 6/30 we have over 40 runners and more than 500 miles collectively! Funds are being raised to help with the family's mounting medical bills. You can be a part of our team by making a pledge towards the team's total miles or just a simple donation.
Every cent raised will go to the Friends of Melana Matson Fund, Huntington Bank, 10787 North Street, Garrettsville, Ohio 44231. Please check out the blog and help us show our love and support to this precious little girl!
